  1.                   UNZIPPING RECURSIVE REALM
  2.                         Version 2.5

  5. All of the files needed to run Recursive Realm are in what
  6. is called "archived" (or "zipchived") format. An archived
  7. file is one that contains one or more other files in comp-
  8. ressed form. Files are placed in this format to save disk
  9. space and/or to keep all of the files together. The following
  10. three files should be included on this disk:
  11.  
  12.       1.) "RREALM.ZIP" - The Recursive Realm zipchive.
  13.       2.) "PKUNZIP.EXE" - The utility to extract the
  14.                           files from "RREALM.ZIP"
  15.       3.) "READ.ME" - This file.
  16.  
  17. Follow the instructions below to unzip RREALM.ZIP:
  18.

  21.     If you have a HARD DISK SYSTEM (or high density drive):
  22.  
  23.         1.) Make sure that you have at least 695k of free disk
  24.             space on your hard disk then place the disk
  25.             containing "RREALM.ZIP" into drive A:
  26.  
  27.         2.) Move to the directory on your hard drive in which
  28.             you want to install Recursive Realm and type the
  29.             following command:
  30.  
  31.                        A:PKUNZIP A:RREALM
  32.  
  33.         3.) The files should be successfully extracted onto your
  34.             hard disk.

  38.     If you have a DUAL 360k FLOPPY DISK SYSTEM:
  39.  
  40.         1.) Have three blank, formatted disks available.
  41.  
  42.         2.) Place the Recursive Realm disk into drive A:
  43.             and a blank, formatted disk into drive B:
  44.  
  45.         3.) Move to drive A: and type the following command
  46.             EXACTLY as shown here:
  47.  
  48.                PKUNZIP RREALM *.EXE *.OME B:
  49.  
  50.             Label this disk "Recursive Realm Program Disk"
  51.  
  52.         4.) Remove the disk from drive B: and replace it with
  53.             a new blank, formatted disk and type the following
  54.             command EXACTLY as shown here:
  55.  
  56.                        PKUNZIP RREALM *.RR? *.DAT B:
  57.  
  58.             Label this disk "Recursive Realm Picture Disk"
  59.  
  60.         5.) Remove the disk from drive B: and replace it with
  61.             a new blank, formatted disk and type the following
  62.             command EXACTLY as shown here:
  63.  
  64.                        PKUNZIP RREALM *.DOC *.NOW *.CAT B:
  65.  
  66.             Label this disk "Recursive Realm Documentation Disk"
  67.  
  68.         6.) Read the documentation on the "Documentation Disk".
  69.             Place the "Program Disk" in drive A: and the "Picture
  70.             Disk" in drive B: then move to drive A: and type
  71.             "RR B:" to start Recursive Realm.

  75. If you received any other files with the extension ".ZIP",
  76. follow the above instructions to unzip them except substitute
  77. the new filename for "RREALM.ZIP". You will probably need about
  78. 650k free disk space for each zip file.
  79.  
  80. You can type "PKUNZIP -V name"  where name is the name of the
  81. zip file to get a list of files in the archive.

  92. just run the PKUNZIP.EXE file all alone.
  93.
